Love this dishwasher!

| This is the second portable dishwasher I've owned and by far the best. I like that it has 3 spray arms, not just one or two and a conveniently tall tub. The unit is very quiet when running and never fails to get my dishes and silverware sparkling and spot free. The silverware tray can be removed for added space on the lower rack. It's well built and the casters roll quite easily. A couple of points I'm not crazy about are the counter top and the display. The counter top is a little on the cheap side. It's a composite butcher block and not real wood. It's also a little dark for my taste. Small issues, really. I also wish the display showed you which cycle the dishwasher is in but it doesn't. When the green light next to "clean" is solid then the cycles are complete. This is a convertible model meaning you can install it like a built-in if you prefer or use it like a portable. It lives up to the Maytag name. I recommend it. |
Maytag Portable Dishwasher, leaked first week!

| I purchased this portable dishwasher for my apartment, and within a week it was leaking from the bottom. It turns out that several screws were loose, making me pretty nervous - since apparently a thorough inspection was lacking at the factory. It looks good, and seems like it cleans well - but the cycle is long and it is noisy. Unfortunately, as far as portable dishwashers go, there isn't much of a choice - so I'm not sure if I'm going to exchange this for another Maytag or go on to something else... |
Dishwasher substandard

Purchased this dishwasher less than two years ago. Found it does not have a filter on the drain hose. Coupler and hose assembly needed replacement because food, etc. was partially blocking the drain hose.
Replacement assembly was not like original, definitely substandard yet at the price of the original. Also the dishwasher leaks from the bottom. Does this intermittently. Has not been resolved. Extremely unhappy with this product. |
